Advances in digital technologies have now made it possible for even the smallest manufacturers to utilize Industry 4.0 technology.
Jervis B Webb, a SME manufacturer and MTechHub member in Hamilton, ON, started with Industry 4.0 by implementing IoT for machine monitoring. Recently they have developed additional real-time dashboards by utilizing co-op students from Mohawk College.
During this virtual event, Chris Maxwell, Maintenance Manager and Karl Slywka, Production Superintendent will share about their accomplishments and challenges with Industry 4.0 dashboard technology for:
- Kanban inventory and signaling
- Lift truck status and inspection
- Custom assembly and weld production status
In addition, we will share about the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) funding program for the college co-op student work placements.
For this session, we will also ask the participants to comment about IoT and dashboard technology applications they have or are planning to implement.
Thursday, September 30th – 9:00am to 10:00am EDT
